It's been a long road for the Cannons, many will remember them as owners of Shiners Nickle, the gorgeous buckskin stallion who earned the coveted title, 2009 Snaffle Bit Futurity Open Co-Reserve Champion. His untimely death at the NRBC was a huge blow to the Cannons. He was due to begin his first breeding season at the ranch and losing him halted the dream of a successful breeding program for the stallion. A limited amount of offspring were bred and his foals performances are followed on this website.
